To protect your data, you can use snapshots — they let you save the server's current state and restore it quickly when needed. For regular automated backups, a separate backup service is available. We recommend setting up backups right after launching your server.

Yes, you get full root access and can install any software — Docker, databases, web servers, monitoring systems, and much more. There are no restrictions on your choice of software.

Yes, you can change the operating system by reinstalling the server through the control panel. Please note: reinstallation wipes the disk completely, so we recommend creating a snapshot or backing up important data before doing this.

You can choose from popular Linux distributions: Ubuntu, Debian, AlmaLinux, CentOS, Rocky Linux, and FreeBSD. Windows Server installation is also available — you need to purchase the license yourself and activate it on the server. With full root access, you can install any OS of your choice.
